Privacy policy

What we collect

Browsing. Nothing that identifies you. No account, no cookies set by us, no advertising pixels. Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security, and keeps them briefly.

Searching. The words you type into the search box are sent to our server to find matches and are not stored against you.

Buying a report. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card number. Stripe gives us your email address and the amount paid. We keep those, together with which report you bought and a private link to it, so that you can open the report again and so that we can help if something goes wrong.

Writing to us. If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
• We never tell a facility, or anyone else, who viewed or bought a report about them.
• We never use your email for marketing you did not ask for. The only email you will get from buying a report is the report.

Services that help us run the site

• Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend delivers our email. It sees the address we are sending to.
• Supabase stores the public records and the purchase records described above.
• Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard server logs for security and performance.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces; your browser requests them from Google.

We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising network.

About the facility information on this site

The facility records, including administrators’ and owners’ names, phone numbers and inspection findings, are public records published by CMS and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. We republish them as published. We do not add personal information from any other source. If you are the operator of a listed facility and believe a record is inaccurate, see the owners page.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your purchase record and we will, though you will then need your emailed link to open the report. Email chris@securelayerhq.com for this or any question about your information.
